By Car
For those arriving from the A1 Autostrada del Sole: Take the Reggio Emilia exit (you can’t miss it, as you will notice the distinctive Calatrava bridges and the beautiful, ultra-modern Mediopadana High-Speed Station, designed by the same architect).
From the exit, follow the signs for the Tangenziale Sud (South Bypass) towards Sassuolo / Scandiano / Albinea.
Continue on the bypass and take the exit towards Albinea.
Pass through the hamlet of Botteghe di Albinea and continue towards Borzano.
Once you arrive in Borzano, turn into Via Chierici 1, and you have arrived.
A little tip: Road layouts in Reggio Emilia and its province change frequently. If your navigation system is not updated, we suggest following our written directions.
Additionally, the Arcispedale S. Maria Nuova hospital can be easily reached by car or public transport in about 15 minutes, making our property an ideal and peaceful solution for those needing extended stays for medical appointments and treatments.

By Train
There are two railway stations in Reggio Emilia, both located within the city. To reach Ca’ Lodola in the hamlet of Borzano di Albinea, you can use public transport, a taxi service, or take advantage of our shuttle service.
From the Historic Station (Piazza Marconi): Upon exiting the station, you can take urban bus line no. 1 (direction Albinea/Botteghe) and then catch the connecting line 1+ to Borzano. The arrival stop is Borzano, which is just a 200-meter walk from Ca’ Lodola (Via Chierici 1).
From the High-Speed Station (Mediopadana): For those traveling by high-speed trains, you can reach the Historic Station in a few minutes via the shuttle bus or the local connecting train, and then continue by bus as indicated above.
Our Shuttle Service (Recommended): To guarantee ultimate comfort and avoid waiting for public transport, whose routes to the hilly areas tend to be less frequent in the evenings and on holidays, we offer a paid private shuttle service to and from the railway stations.
If you wish to use the shuttle for your arrival or departure, please inform us in advance when booking or in the days leading up to your arrival, so we can best organize the transfer directly to our property.
(Alternatively, a public taxi service is always available at both stations, with a travel time of approximately 20-25 minutes).
By Plane
The nearest airports are Parma and Bologna.
Both are connected to their respective railway stations via shuttle services, allowing you to easily continue your journey toward Reggio Emilia and our property.
Once you arrive in Reggio Emilia, you can proceed to Ca’ Lodola in Borzano following the train directions.
Dedicated Shuttle Service: For a carefree journey, we remind you that we offer a private shuttle service to and from the Reggio Emilia railway stations.
